I seriously think I need anger management every morning. Traffic jam is driving me to my grave. You can spend over 6 minutes in a stationary bus. Argh~ Why build two primary schools there when those little brats can't go to school on their own. Firstly, most of their legs are weak, they need transportation to the school gate every morning. So, all the cars stuck at one pathetic junction and other vehicles behind the junction will be stuck there too. Thank god, I still reached school by 7:40 sharp. And Bugis is such a eerie place in the morning. Only one female, which is me, at the bus stop. Others were all the men that look like drug addicts and gamblers. -shudder-
Of course I took MRT to Bugis. And guess who I saw on the train. Haha. Nvm. It's like the first familiar face I see in the new year. Haha.
So went to school, had hours of briefing on all the tchers in school and their posts and other relavant info. Then they left, so I thought, "Yahoo! Boring things are over!" Yah rite, then the VP came and talked on subject combi. The instructions were all given, but some people were too cautious and started asking some questions that had already been answered again. Wah. Tons of Malaysian Scholars. Argh~ [And their andrenaline levels are never-ending high] I sat beside this RV girl, I thought should be alright, then after hours I realized she was those kind of girls I hate. Wah. She kept complaining and complaining and kept making noise. Argh~ Thank god she's choosing a different combi as me. Most people chose S5 [Maths, Physics, Chem, Econs], I chose S3, [replace the econs with FMaths] All science combi here has physics, can't escape. Haha. Then there was this research thingy called STaR programme. Not very keen. Bleh..
Supposedly if you had watch news last night, you should have seen the NJ reports. Integrated programme. Haha, 4 TV stations came to flim.
So OGLs brought us around the school. [Hehe, my OGL is shuai. Ha.] Of course it was of no use, it's just to waste time. Oh, btw, 70% of the JC1s wear SHORTS. Ew. [Catholic High, RV, Chinese High..]
Then went to choose combi, heh, then saw Jacqueline [4G]. Phew, thought only me. [Others were : Xie Lei Yu [You know who] and Teddy Low] Then more roaming round the school and lunch at 10:50am. [Isn't that brunch time?]
After brunch, which I just drank green tea, we had mass dance. And I suck at this. Argh~ The steps were so, complicated, plus I really have no talent at this. We only learnt one-sixth of the dance yest. [Songs include : S Club, That thing you do, That Perhaps perhaps perhaps song.] Yah, last song couple dance, that I went freaked out. [If you've seen my partner you shld know why. Shorts. Shorts.]
Then had cheers, which is what all the stations flimed. Haha, their cheers were amusing. Quite lame. And if you knew what we had to do when the ppl were fliming. No sound is produced, only actions. Haha. Then learnt school song, this school had 2 school songs, one in Malay, one in English, and the latter sounds more like a pop song than a school song. Haha. "The National Dream, fulfilled for all to see."
oOps, I think before mass dance we had discipline and PE and CCA briefing. Discipline is strict here, a little worse than AH. At least you can only buy sports shoes of 2 colours - Black and white. Lucky mine was white. We'll be having our Road run, I guess sth like 2.4, on Valentines' Day. -.-" Then CCA is driving me nuts too. The question is should I stay in band. The band here is super ke lian, got to play National Anthem and School song every morning. Wah, then I got to reach very early leh. But if I don't join band and start something new, achievement-wise is quite hard. Dunno lah.
Yeah! Monday we'll be having water games then Friday going to Sentosa for Amazing Race [Seems like every school's going to have this]. Sat CCA carnival.
Overall, orientation is fuN!
After that, went to meet Hazel and had my lunch at 5:30pm. Haha. Then walked around White Sands till 7. Still had some AH people around. Haiyoh. Yah, that's my day. Tired.
Read Chenghuat's blog. Well, thank god I left AH soon enough. New school song, classroom on the 5th floor. I'll probably whine everytime I'm climbing the stairs. Haha. And Goh's image is fading. Haha. Tan Tai Ha as your form tcher is really a good experience. Hehe. Had her for sec 1 and see what happened? Chaos. Ha.
