was reading random sites and i realized i havent been watching concerts (ie band/choir/ blah) for a loooooong time, unless you consider the SYF presentation as one (but still it's was ages ago)
it felt as if music was out of my life after i left band. havent been listening to pure music. it's like blasting pop songs into my ears everyday.
passed by UCC during NUS openhse. tokyo kosei! it's really loong time ago. going together as a band, trying to squeeze into the bus and talk and laugh.. blah. those were the days.
gradually we drifted apart and god knows when, we'll meet again.
and worse, i start to forget the song titles. esp the one i had my cabassa "solo" (ahhh..got saboed by senior). i just remembered it's from some "....devine comedy" ok, dancin' megahits is a must to play for ahband. so whoever forgets it is doomed. i like jap graf! (yes, i screwed up my quavers on 14th jan!) or maybe mononoke( the spelling doesnt seem right). i know it's all those jap pieces and yes, my memory is failing me. i'm forgetting things fast.
havent replied regarding the 30 july concert. but i'm gradually losing it.
maybe i should try downloading the pieces and listen to them again. but of course it's hard coz i'm forgetting titles. but no worries, i kope-d the library book on band day last year. *evil laughter*
ahhh, i miss photocopying scores and carrying the big pile of papers to school the next day. i miss asking bernie or random people in the storeroom to stamp the scores with me. i miss being ordered by seniors to dig up scores from i dunno where. i miss going to the end of the field and play at the monkey bar area with bernie and juniors. i miss carrying instruments here and there (though it aches sometimes). miss doing the stupid action of counting bars (1-2-3-4, 2-2-3-4....) i miss talking shit with random people during announcement time. aiyah, in short, i miss band days.
haha. yet i dread it when there's band pracs and sectionals. ok, not so much of sectionals coz it's bully-zhiwei time!
blah. cant turn back time. can we?

ps. was seraching to tokyo kosei and they played this piece named "La Mer" cant stop laughing at the title.
