so late in the nite i was friendster hopping, and came across my primary school friends' accounts. i see people going to japan, uk and even hk. for a moment, i wish i could be like them, studying overseas, new environment and all. and it sounds/looks prestigious. there's this wave of sadness, blaming myself for being so lazy throughout my jc days and ending up with such results that cant bring me anywhere, at least out of this island.

till now, i'm still unsure whether i'll be able to cope with my studies in FASS. afterall, it's so foreign to keep reading readings instead of solving mathematical sums that involves F, v, x, y etc. what's worse is i'm losing the motivation to study. or rather, laziness is taking over me. i tried to enrich my life, participating in activities and all, and i'm really afraid, that i'll just screw up my studies.

well, even though i didnt make it overseas, i'm really glad that i'm here, in nus. i really met a great bunch of people here, and not forgetting my friends from jc and ahs too. the joy, the laughter, i hope it can last for the years to come. i'm not sure how much i've done as a friend, but i'm really thankful for whoever up there giving me this great company, the care and concern they've shown to me, the love they've showered on me. though i may not be meeting some quite often, but i'm glad we can still joke and make fun of each other like before!

i've never regretted stepping into nus (maybe except for the bidding part)

so yes, join the nus community!

while brainstorming on charity projects, YEP crossed my mind again. i really want to go on another YEP trip again, preferably with the same company! coz we had so much fun back then! haha. bathing with xueli, staring at frogs, bitching about people in our cozy library which the cat invaded on the first day. xiaotian spraying her 'off' on the sides of the door every night, maha and her VERY BIG ROLL of toilet paper, minghui and me sneaking into the library to have our dosage of milo powder, harvesting the rice with karen, when we ate more cookies than doing our work. the elephants which shitted everywhere possible. loy krathong. P' charn, oh shit, i forgot the others' names. die. cooking in the kitchen. our night snacks which we refused to share with people. and lame games. i can't wait to go for another trip again, maybe dragging more people along! haha.

i'm really greatful for everything that has happened in my life.
